Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week including some evening and weekend work

About Us:

Hayters, founded as a sports editorial agency in 1955, is a major player in sports broadcasting, video and social media journalism. We are looking for a talented and creative Videographer to join our team and bring stories from the world of football to life through compelling video content.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Videographer to capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for storytelling, strong technical expertise, and experience creating engaging visual content for digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos of interviews with people from the world of sport.
Collaborate with the team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure professional production quality.
Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Manage post-production tasks, including colour correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
Stay up-to-date with video trends and best practices to enhance content effectiveness.
Conceptualise creative ways to bring stories to life through video while overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
An example of a project you might be required to put together below:

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Videographer.
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Strong understanding of lighting and audio recording.
Ability to operate professional video cameras and other equipment.
Creativity and storytelling skills to produce visually compelling content.
Strong organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of social media video trends and formats (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
A strong knowledge and interest in football, including women’s football.
A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video work is required.
Travel is required, so a full driving license and access to a car is preferred.
Experience in motion graphics and animation is a plus.
