Chelsea first to reach semi-finals with Durham demolition

Scorers: Beever-Jones 21', Jean-François 61', Cuthbert 63', Reiten 75', Hamano 77'

Chelsea delivered a 5-0 win over Championship side Durham to make it through to the League Cup semi-finals.

The strike from 23-year-old Oriane Jean-François was the pick of the bunch, as she hit a rocket into the back of the net to put the scores at 2-0.

It was then that the floodgates opened and Chelsea added three more in quick succession to round off another successful evening for Sonia Bompastor and her side.

Manchester City see off derby rivals to advance

Scorers: Coombs 12', Murphy 45+2'; Turner 35'

Manchester City avenged their WSL derby defeat to Manchester United as they advanced through to the semi-finals of the League Cup.

Gareth Taylors side took the lead after a superb piece of passing play led to a simple finish for Laura Coombs, before Millie Turner pegged them back with a looping finish above a crowd of defenders.

Just before the break, City hit back with an angled finish from Lily Murphy.

Arsenal steamroller Brighton to continue Slegers winning run

Scorers: Maanum 65', McCabe 68', Cooney-Cross 70', Caldentey 83'

A five minute flurry of goals from Arsenal was enough to see off Brighton and put the Gunners in the League Cup semi-final.

Mariona Caldentey added a fourth with seven minutes of normal time remaining to seal that victory.

That makes it two wins from two for new boss Renée Slegers since she was given the job permanently.

West Ham make comeback to join big guns in semis

Scorers: Thomas 10'; Piubel 39' Smith 44'

West Ham came back from a goal behind to join Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal in the semi-finals.

The fightback was complete before the whistle blew at the end of the first half, with Tottenham unable to find a way back in the second 45 minutes.

The semi-finals will take place on the 5th and 6th of February, with the final of the competition to be held in March.
