But the biggest highlight of the interview came when the Spaniard teased about enjoying the Spurs stadium.

Xavi on everything Barcelona

First up, though, Xavi was asked whether or not he would sign any new players for Barcelona if the club had any cash to burn.

The Spaniard, though, pointed out that Barça have enough talents in the team and do not require any reinforcements.

“I always stay with the young guys who are there. Lamine, Cubarsi and Fermin,” he said (h/t FCB World).

The former coach went on to pinpoint Yamal as his favourite player in the world right now.

It must be noted that Xavi’s influence was crucial in helping Yamal make a breakthrough last season.

Xavi went on to talk about his Barcelona career, labelling the 2009 UCL final in Rome as his best moment, where the Catalans secured a 2-0 win over Manchester United.

When asked about the best players he has exchanged shirts with, Xavi added, “Modric, Pirlo, Figo, Buffon.”

Xavi on Premier League, Spurs stadium

The interesting part of the conversation saw Xavi offer his thoughts on the Premier League, where the Spaniard still likes Kevin De Bruyne the most.

Moving on, Xavi was asked about his favourite stadium part from Camp Nou at Barcelona.

In response, the former Barça coach had an interesting answer. “Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,” said the Spaniard, who is still a free agent since leaving Barcelona.

It must be noted that Xavi has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, though it remains to be seen if the former Barcelona coach accepts any new assignments anytime soon.
