The quarter finals of the Adobe Women's FA Cup are set to take place this weekend as eight teams remain in the race for a ticket to Wembley Stadium.

The fifth round of the FA Cup held no surprises as the usual suspects prevailed over the competition's underdog contenders. The quarter-finals will be hoping to bring the fireworks as eight teams gear up to fight for a spot in the semis.

The Women's Super League (WSL) top four - Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City - will all play at home in the quarter-finals.

Who are the Women's FA Cup holders?

Manchester United are the current holders of the competition after thrashing Tottenham Hotpsur 4-0 in the 2024 final at Wembley Stadium. The Red Devils progressed through to the quarter-finals this time after brushing past third-tier Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Midlands.

Arsenal have long been the giants of the FA Cup, claiming the competition silverware a total of 14 times. Chelsea and Manchester City have taken the reins of dominance in recent years, sharing the glory between themselves in seven of the last eight seasons.

The quarter-finals will take place across the weekend, with Manchester United and Sunderland set to kick off the action on Saturday 8 March. All remaining fixtures are set to take place the next day.

The FA Cup quarter-finals promise thrillers, with the WSL's top four contenders all in the race.

Championship side Sunderland are the only second-tier club left in the competition as they travel to Leigh Sports Village to take on defending champions Manchester United.

Manchester City will host Aston Villa at Joie Stadium, whilst Arsenal take on Liverpool at Meadow Park. A London derby at Kingsmeadow may be more of a one-sided battle as WSL leaders Chelsea take on last place Crystal Palace.

The FA have confirmed that three of the quarter final fixtures will be streamed live via the official Adobe Women's FA Cup YouTube channel.

The BBC have confirmed their broadcast pick for the round, with Manchester City vs Aston Villa set to be shown live on BBC One at 12:30 GMT on Sunday.
