Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr are considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to the Telegraph.
The Ecuadorian star joined Chelsea in 2023 for a British record fee of £115 million on an eight-year deal.
Al-Nassr have shown clear ambition in the transfer market. They have already signed Cristiano Ronaldo, Aymeric Laporte and other top players.
Caicedo is considered an ideal midfield target, but is expected to cost over £100m. He has featured in every Premier League match for Chelsea this season – the only player in the squad to do so.
The midfielder has played 85 games for Chelsea, 80 of which were starts. He has built a strong partnership with Enzo Fernandes in the middle of the park.
Caicedo has been one of the most consistent performers since signing for Chelsea.
He has become a symbol of the club’s long-term project under manager Enzo Maresca. His presence has brought calm and balance to Chelsea’s midfield.
Chelsea are fighting to qualify for Europe next season and are still in the running for the Europa Conference League.
Al-Nassr currently sit third in the Saudi Pro League, eight points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
They determined to close the gap by adding elite players, and Caicedo’s profile fits the bill for them.
However, it is debatable whether he would consider leaving one of the top leagues in Europe to play in the Middle East.
