Atletico Madrid host Barcelona in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tonight.
Two late goals from Diego Simeone’s side rescued a 4-4 draw in a thrilling first leg. Atleti were 2-0 ahead inside six minutes, before recovering from 4-2 down to level the tie. All three meetings with Barcelona this season have had match-altering stoppage-time goals.
Atletico are in need of a lift, however, with their season in danger of imploding. The Rojiblancos exited the Champions League to Real Madrid on penalties and have fallen nine points behind Barcelona in the La Liga title race.
The visitors are still in pursuit of a treble under Hansi Flick. Top of the table in Spain, Barcelona also have an upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund.
Angel Correa is missing for Atleti as the forward serves the third game of a five-match ban. Correa was handed the lengthy suspension for using foul language towards the officials during the 2-1 defeat at Getafe.
Koke remains a doubt having been out since February with a muscular issue in his right leg, though Robin Le Normand is expected to be fit. The Spain international was forced off during the draw with Espanyol at the weekend with a head injury.
Atletico predicted XI: Oblak; Llorente, Gimenez, Lenglet, Reinildo; Simeone, Barrios, De Paul, Lino; Alvarez, Griezmann.
