With the Spanish giants currently embroiled in an exciting LaLiga race as well as reaching the latter stages of the Champions League, both sides are on course to complete a treble, but only one can ultimately be successful in their attempts.

Los Blancos were first to book their place in the 2024/2025 Copa del Rey final after overturning a two-goal deficit in their semi-final second leg against Real Sociedad to draw 4-4 on the night but progress 5-4 on aggregate.

Barcelona edged past Atletico Madrid by the exact same aggregate score as Ferran Torres netted the decisive goal in the second leg on Wednesday night to pile on the misery for Diego Simeone’s side.

So a first domestic El Clasico cup final in over a decade is on the horizon and it could be the first of two this season depending on how they fare in the Champions League.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Barcelona vs Real Madrid is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025. However, a kick-off time is still yet to be announced.

The final will take place at the Estadio De La Cartuja in Sevilla, Spain.

Where to watch Barcelona vs Real Madrid

Whilst the game isn’t for another three weeks, previous meetings between Barcelona and Real Madrid this season suggest the Copa del Rey trophy is heading back with Hansi Flick’s side.

In the LaLiga meeting at the Santiago Bernabeu, Barca emerged 4-0 winners and then ran riot to win the Spanish Super Cup at the beginning of the year.

Los Blancos have improved since those meetings but it’s hard to look past the Blaugrana.
