MIAMI – The Final Round of the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continues Thursday with the second pair of matches in Group B, as 12 nationals teams compete for the four available spots in the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2025.

Group B action on the day kicks off with Panama facing Canada at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua.

Panama will look to bounce back after falling against Puerto Rico in their opening fixture. Las Canaleras are amid a fifth appearance in the Final Round and in search of advancing to a FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the first time.

Canada will look for a key result to climb up to first place in Group B. The Reds are currently second with three points after defeating Nicaragua 5-nil in the team’s opening match in the Final Round. Goals from five different goal scorers led Canada to the win on the night: Lacey Kindel, Melisa Kekic, Kaylee Hunter, Kellyane Dumas and Emma Donnelly.

Nicaragua vs. Puerto Rico

The second match of the day will see Nicaragua and Puerto Rico meet at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua.

Nicaragua will look to take advantage of playing on home soil and secure a positive result after falling to defeat against Canada on Tuesday. La Azul y Blanco is currently making its third appearance in the Final Round and is in the hunt of qualifying to a FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the first time.

Puerto Rico will look to defend its lead in first place in Group B after winning 6-1 against Panama in the team’s opening game in the Final Round. Attackers Gabriella Garnett, who contributed a hat trick scored in five minutes and an assist, and Giselle Falcón, who tallied a brace an assist, were outstanding in the match. Captain Camila Adame rounded out the result with the final goal of the game.
