Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Dean Huijsen last summer as part of a broader plan to strengthen their backline, but the Spanish center-back ended up joining AFC Bournemouth instead. If they decide to revisit that pursuit, they won’t be the only ones in the race.

Despite bringing in Willian Pacho, PSG are still expected to target another center-back—especially with Milan Skriniar likely on his way out this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, several top clubs are tracking the 19-year-old closely, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG.

Huijsen has impressed since arriving in the Premier League, quickly establishing himself as one of Europe’s most promising young defenders. If PSG make another move, they’ll be facing serious competition—and a hefty price tag.

TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool are big admirers and even view Huijsen as a future leader and the ideal long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk. His release clause at Bournemouth is reportedly set at £50 million.

Could Chelsea be the landing spot for Dean Huijsen?

The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea are looking to add a defender this summer, with Jorrel Hato and Dean Huijsen among the names being considered.

Recently, TalkSPORT reported that Bournemouth expect to lose Huijsen this summer, but the 20-year-old is leaning toward staying in the Premier League rather than making a move to Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.
