Como coach Cesc Fabregas shrugged off reports he is being lined up to be the new coach of clubs like Milan and Roma. ‘I can assure you, nobody has called me.’
The tactician took Como to promotion from Serie B to the top flight and they are currently surging towards mid-table safety.
It has earned him a great deal of speculation linking him to open jobs at Serie A sides next season, above all Roma and Milan, but also RB Leipzig in Germany.

Fabregas was asked about these stories during today’s press conference and seemed unimpressed.
“I already said many times, I am only concentrated on Como,” replied the coach.
“I can assure you with certainty, nobody has called me on the phone.”
Como are in action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to troubled Lecce, which could definitively push them away from the danger zone.
As for Fabregas, the Spaniard turns 38 next month and it is believed his contract with Como runs to June 2028.
So far this season in Serie A, Como have amassed nine victories, nine draws and 14 defeats.
