Despite the euphoria of his derby heroics, Brewster’s overall numbers at Sheffield United remain underwhelming. Injuries have been a major factor, limiting his development and game time. When he signed for the Blades, he was expected to be their long-term striker solution, but he has yet to justify his reported £23.5 million transfer fee.

In 109 competitive games for United, he has managed just eight goals and five assists. Three of those goals and three of those assists have come this season.
