Daniel Farke's side currently sit in second place but have won just one of their last five games, giving promotion rivals Sheffield United and Burnley a chance to close the gap.

Nevertheless, the German head coach has insisted he remains "100% convinced" that they will secure promotion, and if they do, Soucek would prove an assured addition to the side.

As detailed by C&H, it is believed that Leeds see him as a consistent source of goals from midfield. However, if they want to secure his signature, they will have to fight it out against Everton, with David Moyes looking to reunite himself with his former midfielder.

Meanwhile, the squad's average weekly wage is £31,109, a far cry from the current figure that Soucek earns, but you'd expect the wage bill to increase if they head back to the Premier League.
