Inter Milan take on city rivals AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semifinals. The first leg is in just a couple days’ time.

And the Nerazzurri will naturally be aiming to have as strong a lineup as possible for that match.

In this respect, the biggest news for Inter could concern one side of the pitch in particular.

Alessandro Bastoni, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Federico Dimarco have formed an impressive unit on Inter’s left side.

When those three all play, there seems to be a sense of synergy to the Nerazzurri in possession.

Bastoni, Mkhitaryan, and Dimarco know how to interchange position and support one another.

Bastoni wasn unavailable through suspension yesterday against Udinese. Dimarco and Mkhitaryan, however, both started and were both instrumental in Inter’s win.

The form of Dimarco and Mkhitaryan, along with Bastoni coming back, could therefore be a hugely effective weapon against Milan in the Coppa Italia this week.
