The latest candidate mentioned to take over as Milan coach for next season is Vincenzo Italiano, who impressed at Fiorentina and Bologna.
The Rossoneri are preparing for next term after sacking Paulo Fonseca and stuttering under Sergio Conceicao since January, so they are expected to bring in another tactician over the summer.
It has been reported that they want an Italian to take the bench, with options including Max Allegri, Antonio Conte and current Olympique Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, there is another name to be added, as Italiano is also on Milan’s radar.
He had taken Fiorentina to two consecutive Conference League Finals, as well as one Coppa Italia Final, before moving on to Milan.
Italiano managed to improve upon the results of predecessor Thiago Motta, as although he went out in the Champions League opening phase, Bologna have one foot in the Coppa Italia Final and are currently fourth in Serie A.
His contract at the Stadio Dall’Ara runs to June 2026, but there could be a way Milan could negotiate to buy him out of that deal.
