Former Juventus players Federico Chiesa and Danilo liked social media posts announcing Thiago Motta’s sacking and Igor Tudor’s appointment at Juventus.

The Bianconeri confirmed the change on the bench on Sunday, sacking Thiago Motta after just nine months and hiring their former defender Tudor for the last nine games of the campaign.

The news sparked several reactions on social media, including those of ex-Juventus players Danilo and Chiesa, who liked a Fabrizio Romano Instagram post announcing the Juventus decision.

Both players left the club in the previous months as they were not part of Motta’s project.

Chiesa didn’t even play under the ex-Italy international as he was frozen out of the team in the summer, training separately from the first team during the pre-season. Chiesa’s contract was due to expire in June 2025, and he hadn’t reached an agreement to extend at the Allianz Stadium.

The Italy international joined Liverpool on a permanent transfer on the deadline day.

Danilo left Juventus in the winter transfer window after struggling for playing time in the first part of the campaign.

He terminated his contract by mutual agreement before joining Flamengo on a free transfer.
