With a new chapter in his career underway, there is much for the French forward to reflect on.

In a recent conversation with Le Parisien (h/t Mundo Deportivo), he spoke openly about several key topics, ensuring nothing was left out.

Legal dispute with PSG

One of the major unresolved matters following Mbappe’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain is a financial disagreement between the two parties.

The issue centres around €55.4 million, a sum that PSG have chosen to withhold despite the player meeting his contractual commitments before signing for Real Madrid.

While such a large amount would typically create tension, the forward appears unbothered by the situation. The matter has now been placed in the hands of legal experts, and he remains confident that a resolution will be reached soon.

“It’s in the hands of the lawyers. I think it will be resolved quickly, it’s not something that worries me,” said the forward

Relationship with Nasser Al-Khelaifi

Despite his exit from the French club, Mbappe holds no resentment toward PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

After spending seven years at the club, he acknowledges the positive experiences and unforgettable memories he created in Paris.

“Of course [I would greet him]. I played in Paris for seven years and I had some extraordinary moments there. I’m not the kind of person who only looks at the negative.”

If the situation arose where he had to meet Al-Khelaifi again, he would have no hesitation in greeting him with respect.

“I know how to be grateful for what people give me in life, both professionally and personally. Of course, I would shake his hand.”

Is PSG better off without Mbappe?

Now that Mbappe has left PSG, there has been speculation about whether the club has improved without him. However, the French star does not dwell on such discussions.

Mbappe has made it clear that while his time in Paris was memorable, he is fully committed to his future in Spain. His focus is set on making history with Real Madrid, and he has no intention of looking back.

“It’s not something that worries me. I watch all the matches and PSG’s matches as well. I wish them the best. But I’m focused on Real Madrid and this historic treble that we can achieve.

“It’s something Real Madrid has never done, so it would be really extraordinary to achieve it in my first season. I try not to think about anything else to give 150% to Real Madrid and bring home these trophies,” he noted.
