📈 MLS Power Rankings: Miami fall off their perch, Cincinnati climb | OneFootball

We're back with another edition of the MLS Power Rankings off the back of the Matchday 10 slate of fixtures.

Let's dig into the top-10.

10. Nashville SC (🆕)

Nashville rejoin the top-10 after a historic 7-2 win over Chicago over the weekend. Sam Surridge bagged four goals as B.J. Callaghan's side cruised back into the top-six in the Western Conference.

9. LAFC (👎)

LAFC just simply can't find the consistency they have been regularly hailed for over the years. A stoppage-time equalizer saved the SoCal club against St. Louis City on Sunday, meaning LAFC have dropped points for the second straight week.

8. Portland Timbers (👍)

The Timbers are on an absolute roll. Phil Neville's side have won five of their last seven games, and are unbeaten in eight. In the process they have racked up the joint-most goals scored in MLS. Look out Western Conference foes, Portland have found their counter-attacking feet once again.

7. Minnesota United (👎)

April has been a test of Minnesota United's mettle. The Loons have failed to win in three straight, two of which were goalless draws. But with the addition of Julian Gressel they should be getting better service into the dynamic duo of Tani Oluwaseyi and Kelvin Yeboah going forward.

6. Charlotte FC (👎)

Charlotte slip this week after their first defeat at home this season, falling to New England in a sluggish match. But thanks to three straight victories before tasting defeat at the weekend, Dean Smith's side remain right in the heart of the hotly-contested Eastern Conference.

5. Philadelphia Union (👍)

The Union are back up into the top-five after a comfortable victory over D.C. United. Philadelphia have now won their last two games by a combined score of 6-0 and look well on track to rediscover the red-hot form we saw in the opening few weeks of the season.

4. Inter Miami (👎)

The Herons have fallen off their perch once again after tasting defeat in dramatic fashion at home against FC Dallas. Defensive vulnerabilities have been apparent for Javier Mascherano's side all season, but somehow it took until the last weekend in April for a team to really exploit them.

3. FC Cincinnati (👍)

Look out ladies and gentlemen, FC Cincinnati are flying once again. Pat Noonan and the club's decision makers put together one of the strongest squads during the winter transfer window and they are finally reaping the rewards after a fifth-straight victory.

2. Columbus Crew (👍)

After the Crew saw their unbeaten run come to an end against Inter Miami, they bounced back in superb fashion with a gutsy win over San Jose on Saturday. It may not be the same superstars pulling the strings for Columbus as we've seen in recent seasons, but Wilfried Nancy's team always seems to find a way to perform.

1. Vancouver Whitecaps (👍)

Look it is, folks. The Vancouver Whitecaps are back on top and deservedly so. Just days after a stunning Champions Cup win over Inter Miami, Vancouver collected a comfortable victory over Minnesota United. Jesper Sørensen's side should not be considered a Cinderella story anymore, they are simply just one of the best teams in the league.
