The XI of players entrusted by the Barcelona coaching staff to get the better of Real Betis on Saturday night has been unveiled online.

And it features one altogether high-profile exclusion.

Barcelona are primed to return to action in short order, turning attentions back towards matters in La Liga in a home meeting with the aforementioned Real Betis.

The Blaugrana head into the matchup in the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them move six points clear atop the table, following Real Madrid’s shock defeat at the hands of Valencia.

As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped Hansi Flick from affording what he evidently feels is a much-needed rest to one of his star performers.

Raphinha has been forced to make do with a spot on the bench in Catalunya’s capital this evening, opening the door for Ferran Torres to secure a rare start.

Also thrust back into the XI after a week plagued by fitness problems is midfielder Gavi.
