According to a financial report from L’Équipe, Adrien Rabiot and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg are predicted to top Olympique de Marseille’s list of highest earners.
The two summer recruits (albeit Rabiot arrived after the window closed, joining in September) are estimated to be Marseille’s highest earners for this season, with the former Tottenham Hotspur and former Juventus midfielders both estimated to receive around €500,000 from the club.
After the two midfielders, Mason Greenwood, Ismaël Bennacer, and Geoffrey Kondogbia are all thought to be the next highest earners, with all three players thought to earn around €450,000.
The Marseille captain, Leonardo Balerdi, is next in line with the centre-back predicted to earn €350,000, closely followed by his former captain Valentin Rongier, who is thought to earn €330,000. Gerónimo Rulli, Amine Harit, and Amine Gouiri all follow.
Only four of the predicted top ten highest earning players played for Marseille before this season, while two of the top ten only arrived this winter (Bennacer and Gouiri).
