Inter Women secured a brilliant win as they came back on matchday five of the Poule Scudetto. The Nerazzure, behind in the final stages, scored twice in stoppage time to secure a big 3-2 win. Wullaert and Polli's goals decided the match. The game was intense from the start with both sides studying one another without conceding any big chances. Inter were forced into an early change in the 20th minute: Bowen was replaced by Cambiaghi. In the 23rd minute, Juventus went close through Cantore who struck the first post with a shot but she was denied by Rúnarsdóttir for a second attempt. The Nerazzurre reacted and went close to scoring in the 28th minute through Detruyer, whose right-footed shot went just wide. Inter pushed again in the 32nd minute: Serturini struck with her left foot and hit the woodwork, leaving a bitter feeling for the home side. Piovani's side continued to push with Serturini proving key once again, but her shot in the 39th minute was too weak to threaten the Juve goal. In the 44th minute, Wullaert tried her luck from distance, but her shot went over the bar. But, just when it seemed like it would be goalless heading into the break, Juventus went ahead: in the 45th minute, Beccari headed home from a Brighton's venomous free-kick which went past Rúnarsdóttir to make it 0-1 at the break.

Juventus started the second half on the front foot: Girelli struck from the edge of the area, but Rúnarsdóttir saved it without any problems. Inter continued to believe and the equaliser came in the 55th minute: Tomaselli was quickest to react and slotted home after making the most of some uncertainty between Peyraud and Magnin. The match remained in the balance, with the Nerazzurre going close in the 75th minute as Serturini couldn't convert a good cross from Tomaselli. It all happened in the closing stages. In the 89th minute, Juventus seemed to have secured the win with a lethal counter-attack as Cantore made it 2-1. Inter did not give up and equalised in the 92nd minute through Wullaert, who was ice cold from the spot as she converted a penalty following a foul on Bugeja in the area. It didn't end there: Polli scored the winner in the 94th minute capitalising on a rebound from Bugeja's shot. The final whistle was blown and the Inter joy erupted: Inter women secured a memorable comeback, beating Juventus 3-2.
