Real Madrid were dealt a double blow last night during their 1-0 win over Getafe as David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga both suffered injuries.
Alaba, who was in the starting lineup, was withdrawn at half-time by Carlo Ancelotti, with Camavinga replacing him before the Frenchman was taken off the pitch very late in the game.
As confirmed earlier today, Camavinga has suffered a complete tear of the adductor tendon and is out for the season.
However, according to journalist Arancha Rodriguez, Alaba’s injury is not as serious, which will come as a relief for Real Madrid.
In fact, if the Austrian defender feels comfortable during tomorrow’s training session, he could even travel to Seville with the rest of the squad for the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

Alaba has endured a difficult season, having already missed the entirety of the first half of the campaign as he recovered from the ACL injury he sustained in December 2023.
Since returning in January earlier this year, the veteran centre-half has found it hard to reach the level he had shown before injury.
It has cast doubts about Alaba’s future at Real Madrid, more so considering that his contract with the club stands to expire next year.
Nevertheless, his potential availability for Saturday’s Copa del Rey clash against Barcelona will come as a boost, considering that Real Madrid are out of options in the left-back position and will have to rely on Fran Garcia as the starter.
