Barcelona star expected to miss next two matches through injury

A leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is expected to be forced to sit out each of the club’s next two fixtures.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Iñigo Martínez as the player in question.
Stopper Iñigo, for his part, was dealt a fresh injury setback over the weekend.
In the aftermath of Barcelona’s comeback victory over Atlético Madrid, it was revealed that the 33-year-old was struggling with a knee issue.
The Blaugrana, in turn, confirmed the extent of as much by way of a statement across their social media platforms:

As per a report from Sport, the former Athletic Club standout is expected to miss each of Barca’s first two outings on the back of the international break, against Osasuna, and Girona.
