Paris Saint-Germain have been leaning more on Ligue 1 talent to build a younger, more dynamic squad in recent windows. The arrivals of Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue from domestic rivals are clear examples of that shift.
For years, the club faced criticism for ignoring the league’s top young talent, but things have changed under sporting advisor Luis Campos. Now, another standout in France has caught their attention.
Andrey Santos, on loan from Chelsea, has been a breakout star at RC Strasbourg this season, playing a key role in their push for a UEFA Champions League spot. His form hasn’t gone unnoticed, drawing interest from other clubs as well.
Recently, Fichajes reported that PSG and AC Milan are eyeing Santos to strengthen their midfield in the upcoming transfer window. However, another report reveals that the capital club want Santos.
According to Calciomercato, several top clubs—including Roma, Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Monaco, and PSG—are interested in signing Santos. Chelsea aren’t actively looking to sell but would consider offers around £35 million.

TEAMtalk reports that Bournemouth are seriously interested in Santos and are ready to make a move for him this summer if he becomes available.
Nottingham Forest, where Santos made just two appearances during a loan spell last season, are still monitoring the situation. But a return to the City Ground doesn’t appeal to the midfielder, who was frustrated by the lack of playing time there.
The race for Santos is expected to heat up this summer, with several Premier League clubs viewing him as a top-tier talent with world-class potential.
According to the report, Chelsea have already received enquiries from eight English clubs, along with interest from across Europe.
Clubs are eager to understand what a potential deal could look like—particularly if Santos isn’t expected to feature regularly for Chelsea next season.
