Carlo Ancelotti’s stance on his Real Madrid future ‘appears to be changing’ | OneFootball

A major update on the future of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Monday come to the fore online.

This comes amid confirmation that the Italian is beginning to look increasingly open to a potential parting of ways in the summer.

Ancelotti, for his part, is being publicly sought out for the manager’s job with the Brazilian national team, following the dismissal of Dorival Júnior.

The former Chelsea and AC Milan boss was previously considered as being focused solely on matters in Spain’s capital, uninterested in a move away for the time being.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, then Ancelotti’s stance is beginning to soften.

As per a report from Real Madrid insider Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, with the shadow of Xabi Alonso looming large behind him:

‘Ancelotti’s stance appears to be changing, due to the wear and tear accumulated over the past four years since he returned to the Spanish capital, and what he perceives are leaks to the press from people at the club that cast doubt on his future.’
