Chelsea are still expected to sign one star this summer despite the contrasting reporting that has come out on it all this week.
The Blues are expected to be busy now this summer, and we have had plenty of updates floating around this week already.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest YouTube video at the weekend with a bunch of info in that. The main takeaway was Romano saying Chelsea are going to be in the market for a new striker, a centre back, and a winger in the summer.
And there has also been a lot of noise regarding Jadon Sancho and whether Chelsea will actually be signing him from Manchester United permanently in the summer or not. The Athletic are reporting that there is a £5m break clause fee that Chelsea can pay to send him back and terminate the loan obligation to buy.

Most people and Chelsea fans are now doubting that Chelsea will sign Sancho this summer. However, it looks like they still are going to sign him permanently, that is at least according to Sky Sports this week.
They report that Chelsea are still expected to sign Jadon Sancho permanently in the summer despite the emergence of a get-out clause existing in the deal to sign him from Manchester United.
Unitedwould be due a £5m penalty payment from Chelsea, should the London club wish to get out of the £25m obligation included in his ongoing season-long loan deal.
Personally I think there could be some more to play out with this story yet.
