And with an exciting night of football ahead under the lights, Elena Sadiku’s side have spent the past week preparing well on the training ground.

Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow’s (Friday’s) match, the Celtic Head Coach insisted it has been good to have more time at Barrowfield, with the team aiming to return to winning ways after losing to Hearts in their last match.

“Having time on the training pitch is always good," she explained. "And you want the next game to come as quickly as possible, so you can bounce back.

“For us, the focus has been on how we need to bounce back and turn things over because the last two games are not what we are and what we want to be perceived as.

"So it’s been about getting back to basics and thinking about who we are as Celtic."

Alongside their work on the training ground, there was also time for an internal game between the squad, to gear up for a return to action on Friday evening.

That was an important part of the preparations for the squad, who will be focusing on what they can do and believing in the game-plan going into another huge clash.

The Swedish coach also insisted that the Ghirls are looking forward to being back out in front of a home crowd, with a first home match since January 26 to look forward to on Friday.

“We have been talking mostly about what we need to do to turn things over," she said.

“The only thing we can control is what we think, and our mindset to make sure that we manage everything much better.

“Obviously, we had an internal game that was really good quality in terms of that game, and our training has been good.

‘So it’s all about us in the way of believing in what we can do.’

"Last time we played at New Douglas Park was back in January against Hearts. So that feels like a long time ago.

“Obviously, it’s going to be really nice to see our fans again, in terms of how loud they can be and showing the support that the players need. So it will feel really nice to be back at home.”
