Barcelona head coach has provided an insight into the details of the message passed on to him by Real Madrid counterpart Carlo Ancelotti on Saturday.

This, of course, comes fresh off Flick and Ancelotti locking horns on the touchline for the latest occasion.

The latest edition of El Clásico was played out last night, with silverware on the line in the finale of the Copa del Rey.

When all was said and done, it was Barcelona who kept alive their dominant recent streak against the club’s arch rivals, courtesy of a 3-2 extra-time triumph.

Following the full-time whistle bringing a close to proceedings at La Cartuja, though, Real Madrid headmaster Carlo Ancelotti managed to put his disappointment to one side, to engage in a cordial exchange with Blaugrana counterpart Flick.

And as alluded to above, post-match, the latter opened up on the details of as much.

Drawn on Ancelotti’s words during his press conference, Hansi Flick explained:
