Harry Kane playing in the NFL? | OneFootball

Harry Kane has shared that after he hangs up his boots from football, he'd be interested in giving the NFL – the premier American football league – a go.

In an interview with Goal.com, the England striker mentioned that while he still has plenty of years left in his European football career, once he retires, pursuing a career in the NFL is something he’d like to explore.

Kane said: "I still feel like I’ve got many years until I retire from football. But when I do, being a kicker is something I want to definitely explore. I know it will be a lot of hard work. I'm not expecting to just walk up and start kicking field goals.

"It would be a lot of practice. But yeah, it's something I'd love to do. The NFL is something I have been following for about 10 years now, and I love it. So I would love to give it a go."

If Harry Kane makes it to the NFL, he will join a select group of athletes who have played both sports. Some of the names on this list include: Brandon Aubrey, Horst Mühlmann, Florian Kempf, Josh Lambo, Toni Fritsch, Matt Bahr, and Chris Bahr.
