Sunday night’s match will be Igor Tudor’s second in charge of the Bianconeri, having taken over from Thiago Motta just shy of a fortnight ago. The Croatian picked up a 1-0 win over Genoa last time out, while his predecessor has given a bombshell interview on his time with Juventus, published on Saturday.

With nine wins and one draw from their last 10 league outings, Roma have the odds in their favour at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday. A visit from Juventus is never a particularly straight-forward affair though, regardless of the circumstances.

Ranieri and Roma will be without Paulo Dybala, who has had season-ending surgery to repair a tendon in his hamstring, so will not be involved. Lorenzo Pellegrini and Matias Soule lined up in the trequartista roles in La Joya’s absence last time out.

Tudor, meanwhile, has revealed that Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Luiz have both returned to training in the build-up to the Roma clash, but he does not expect either of them to start.

The new Bianconeri coach reinstated Dusan Vlahovic to his starting line-up in the first match, along with Kenan Yildiz and Teun Koopmeiners in the supporting roles behind him. The same is expected again on Sunday.
