Federico Dimarco is amongst a group of players who are due to return to full training this week, in a welcome boost for Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, the return of Dimarco from a thigh injury sees Inzaghi have almost his whole squad available to him and in form for the first time this season.
The Italy international missed out on a call-up to the national team during the break as he steps up his recovery, and he has now returned to full group training with Inter.
Elsewhere, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has also completed full training sessions over the course of the week as he looks to maintain his strong form and offer Inzaghi options in midfield ahead of a gruelling April fixture list.
The veteran Armenian has rolled back the years to flourish in recent weeks, much like 36-year-old centre-back Francesco Acerbi.
The ex-Lazio defender has impressed when dealing with physical attacking players and is likely to be called upon to handle the towering Lorenzo Lucca when Inter face Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.
With all three set to be available, Inzaghi has almost a full-strength squad to call upon and only Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries are currently ruled out.
