Manchester United are plotting a mass clear-out of unwanted players to raise transfer funds for the summer, with Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham among the targets they are lining up.

United are reportedly ready to offload Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Kobbie Mainoo and Christian Eriksen, on top of their attempts to sell Antony and Marcus Rashford.

United need to bring in money if they are to make signings as Ruben Amorim seeks to overhaul his squad at Old Trafford.

Casemiro will have one year left on his £350,000-a-week contract and United are also open to selling Mainoo to help their finances.

Mainoo is valued at around £70million and his sale would go down as profit because he came through their academy.

Lindelof and Eriksen are out of contract in the summer, while Antony and Rashford are free to leave at the end of their loan spells at Real Betis and Aston Villa.

Amorim is desperate for some new signings to add to his squad and United are said to have identified Jobe Bellingham as an option to strengthen in midfield.

The brother of Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham, 19-year-old Jobe has become an integral player for Sunderland in the last two years.

Sunderland are pushing for a Championship play-off place as they plot promotion to the Premier League, and would be in a strong negotiating position if they go up because Bellingham is under contract under 2028.

But if they fail to go then Bellingham could seek a move and he is said to be wanted by a host of other Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Tottenham and Brentford.
