Congratulations! We've arrived at the 1-month mark of the MLS regular season and the March FIFA international window.

And while it's still very early days, we've seen enough to make a few early evaluations of some of the best players in MLS in 2025.

Here's our first edition of the MLS (Player) Power Rankings, our judgment of the best players in MLS so far heading into Matchday 5.

10. Kelvin Yeboah

All the Ghanaian has done is score goals since his move to MLS, with nine total in 13 league appearnces for Minnesota United.

And it's a shame for his fantasy owners he was used off the bench last Saturday at Kansas City -- possibly because of a minor injury? -- because he could've scored a couple more with the way Kansas City defended through much of that 3-3 draw.

Even so, he nearly set up a match-winner for Jeong Sang-bin in the dying moments and probably deserved his first assist of the season for his efforts.

9. Diego Luna

The 21-year-old has been tasked with carrying the creative burden left at Real Salt Lake by the departures of Elias Manoel, Cristian Arango and Anderson Julio. And while it hasn't been entirely smooth sailing, he's been at the root of most of what RSL has done well to stay at the even-water mark through two games of the season.

He also leaves for USMNT duty on a high note, with his performance in a 2-1 win at Houston last weekend.

8. Roman Burki

The reiging MLS Goalkeeper of the year is back on his game in 2025 so far, having kept clean sheets in all three of his matches and giving an MLS Player of the Matchday-level performance in St. Louis City's 3-0 win at the LA Galaxy two weekends ago.

Do you understand how good you have to be to earn Player of the Matchday as a goalkeeper in a 3-0 win? He was that good, and it wasn't even a particularly difficult decision.

Unfortunately he could be sidelined for a few weeks with a hand fracture, but he still deserves all the praise for his efforts so far.

7. Wilfried Zaha

Charlotte FC's newest Designated Player had a goal and an assist on his debut, and so far has proven plenty capable of being an MLS team's attacking focal point. He also looked the far most likely to score in Charlotte's 1-0 loss at Inter Miami on Matchday 3, a game in which he was let down at times by his teammates.

Zaha won't always be asked to do the scoring or creating from his wide left position. But MLS defenses will have to account for him, which is only going to open more space for Pep Biel, Patrick Agyemang and others, as was the case in Saturday's 2-0 home win against FC Cincinnati.

6. Hugo Cuypers

The Belgian came to the Second City with high expectations after back-to-back double-digit goal seasons in the Juliper League, but was a dud on Year 1 of his MLS deal in a Chicago Fire side that struggled tremendously to create chances.

He's still a striker who is reliant on service, but his ability to show up in the right spots has been exceptional in Year 2, his first working with striker whisperer and former USMNT boss Gregg Berhalter. He has four goals and should probably have more after VAR dubiously took one away in Chicago's 2-1 win at Toronto FC last Saturday.
