Napoli moving in advance for Bologna’s Lewis Ferguson | OneFootball

Serie A side Bologna have seen midfielder Lewis Ferguson do well this season after his return from a serious knee injury and he is now attracting attention from Napoli.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that the Partenopei are looking out in the market for potential replacements for Andre Frank Zambo-Anguissa and Ferguson is attracting ‘special’ attention from them this season.

They have tried to move in advance for the Scotsman but Bologna’s stance is clear that they will only speak about their midfielder in the summer. Any talks will be hold only at that point, even if Ferguson has been on Napoli’s shortlist for about a year now.

At Napoli, Ferguson will come across Scotland teammates Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay. Everything will come down to Antonio Conte’s side, because Bologna want a significant fee to let their midfielder leave, even if no figure has emerged so far.
