The future of Dean Huijsen is becoming a hot topic in the transfer market lately, with many expecting him to make the jump to a bigger club this summer.
Huijsen is currently plying his trade for Bournemouth, where he has made a solid breakthrough this season. His performances even earned him a maiden call-up for the Spanish national team.
Huijsen’s stock went up especially after his Spain debut, with even Real Madrid joining the list of clubs interested in his services.
It is well documented that Huijsen is a huge Real Madrid fan and to that end, Sky Sports has recently offered an update on the Spaniard’s future.
It appears Huijsen is ready to wait for Real Madrid if they come up with an official bid for him this summer.

This is quite the committment considering the fact that the defender has also been courted by several top clubs in the Premier League.
Chelsea and Arsenal are few of the big names interested in signing Huijsen this summer, with recent reports suggesting that the Blues have already activated his release clause.
Huijsen’s release clause is reportedly worth around €60 million, which does become problematic for Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are not ready to spend that kind of money on an individual, especially in a summer where big changes are expected, starting from the managerial position.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see just how long Huijsen is willing to wait for Real Madrid and whether or not he folds as soon as the English giants try to lure him away lucrative salary packages.
