Real Madrid are back in action in La Liga tomorrow as they take on Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu, hoping to secure all three points and put some pressure on Barcelona.
The preparations for the game against Los Che took place today at Valdebebas with some notable absentees, including both first-tea goalkeepers Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin, although the latter has been named in the squad list.
There was one welcome news for Real Madrid in training though as midfielder Dani Ceballos made his return to group training, reports Fabrizio Romano.
The Spanish midfielder had been in brilliant form but suffered an injury in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Real Sociedad in late February.
A potential two-month recovery period had been touted for Ceballos and as such it was expected that he might recover around the time for the Copa del Rey final.

However, Ceballos has worked very hard on his recovery and pushed forward his return deadline.
The 28-year-old resumed training with the group today and as per the report, if everything goes according to plans, the midfielder is expected to be back in the squad for next week’s match against Arsenal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
It will be a special moment for Ceballos, considering he played for two seasons for Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid.
Before getting injured, Ceballos had been in fine form and established himself as a regular starter under Carlo Ancelotti, providing the team with the balance that the manager was so craving.
As such, his return will be a welcome boost for Real Madrid as we enter the final phase of the season.
