A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is being prepped for an imminent return to starting duties for the closing months of the campaign.

That’s according to Relevo, who point towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.

Ceballos, for his part, is of course fresh off making his comeback following an extended spell out of action.

After being given the medical green light last week after fully overcoming a hamstring injury, the 28-year-old was immediately afforded minutes off the bench, in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then such contributions are only set to ramp up over the weeks ahead.

As per a report from Relevo, in fact, Ceballos is in line for a starting berth in Los Blancos’ crunch Champions League showdown with Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

This comes with ‘Carlo Ancelotti determined to give Ceballos a starting spot for the remainder of the season’.
