AC Milan are one of multiple clubs keeping a close eye on Zepiqueno Redmond, whose contract will expire at the end of the season, according to a report.

Redmond is a name that will be familiar to some Milan fans. Why? Because he played the second leg of the Champions League play-off between Milan and Feyenoord from start. As a result of the Dutch side’s injury crisis, he got the chance and did relatively well.

At the age of 18, the striker has attracted the interest of several big clubs in Europe, including the Rossoneri who got to watch him up close. This was reported by Voetbal International, adding that the likes of Tottenham and Bournemouth are also keeping a close eye on the youngster.

Redmond’s contract will expire at the end of the season, which has fueled the interest from abroad, and there is no renewal agreement in sight just yet. Feyenoord’s manager, the legend Robin Van Persie, made the club’s stance clear.

‘I hope that Zeppi will extend his contract with us. There has been quite a lot of contact between his agent and Feyenoord. So our position remains the same. We hope that he chooses us,” he said as relayed by Voetbal.

As things stand, however, Milan aren’t exactly in need of strikers but everything depends on the future of Tammy Abraham. Not to mention that they already have Francesco Camarda to focus on in that sense.
