Chelsea have been intensifying their efforts to seal the transfer of Juventus attacking midfielder Kenan Yildiz this summer, CaughtOffside understands.

Sources with a close understanding of the situation have revealed to CaughtOffside that Chelsea now look to be pushing hardest to sign Yildiz, though Juventus don’t want to let the talented young Turkey international leave.

The Serie A giants will demand as much as €100m for Yildiz, who is also on the radar of other top Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City.

Yildiz has not signalled any intention to leave Juventus, but clubs have been exploring his situation in case the Turin outfit miss out on Champions League qualification.

Kenan Yildiz transfer won’t come cheap, but he could be the face of the Chelsea project

Chelsea clearly face a battle to bring in Yildiz, but it makes sense that he’s one of their priorities as he could be ideal to really help launch this Blues project.

This current Chelsea ownership have prioritised bringing in elite young players, but we’re yet to really see that deliver any real success for the club.

Yildiz, however, would be a statement signing who could take this team to another level for many years to come.

The 19-year-old could also be ideal for clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal right now, and he may well find them more tempting destinations.

Arsenal could do with more attacking depth to take the pressure off Bukayo Saka, and Yildiz could be an ideal upgrade on the inconsistent Gabriel Martinelli.

Liverpool, meanwhile, might do well to think about someone like Yildiz as an alternative to Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo, who haven’t been that convincing in recent times, while Diogo Jota has also been rather injury prone during his time at Anfield.

Those clubs could be better options for Yildiz than Chelsea, who might not even qualify for next season’s Champions League after some patchy recent form.
