Lazio reportedly turned down approaches for Nicolò Rovella from Premier League giants last January, but they should expect renewed interest next summer, with clubs potentially making improved offers to secure the midfielder.
Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal were all said to be keen on making a move for the 23-year-old, whose performances for Marco Baroni’s side have also earned him his first call-ups to Italy’s national team.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the three clubs made concrete bids for Rovella, but they ultimately clashed with Lazio’s reluctance to sell one of their key players mid-season.
However, the former Monza holding midfielder remains on their radar, making it likely that the clubs will return with fresh offers during the summer transfer window.
While Lazio view Rovella as a pillar of their squad, a bidding war between some of the richest Premier League clubs could result in a lucrative offer that might be hard to turn down. The same applies to the player, who is reportedly well-settled at the Stadio Olimpico and is not eager to push for a move away.

The Italy international is currently in the final months of his two-year loan from Juventus, with the Biancocelesti set to make his transfer permanent at the end of the season for €17 million.
However, club owner Claudio Lotito is expected to demand at least €40 million to sell Rovella, with that figure likely rising if the interested Premier League clubs engage in a bidding war.
