On Monday evening, Newcastle United almost certainly relegated Leicester City in basic terms. All is not done and dusted quite yet on Filbert Way. However, the chairman, staff and Foxes squad are now sadly losing the hearts and minds of the majority of the Blue Army fan base. Losing 3-0 at home without much of a first half fight was all too much for some LCFC supporters.
The famous King Power Stadium saw an unprecedented mass exodus of Leicester's share of spectators. By the end of the match, there were more empty seats than occupied ones. The City support are rightly in dismay at present. Few positives and almost zero optimism engulfs the east Midlands outfit at the moment.
However, I have noted one element of hopefulness for fans to hold onto in a depressing time to be a Fox. LCFC's contemporary youth department is actually widely cited as being particularly talented and encouraging for the future. That's if the Leicestershire side can hang onto some exciting talents they are developing at Seagrave Training Centre.
Indeed, superclubs are already said to be eyeing a transfer for starlet Jeremy Monga. You may have seen his cameo as the second youngest ever Premier League debutant versus the Magpies. We also explain why the Leicester prospect's shirt sponsors were missing in the Newcastle fixture as well.
Monga's jersey gained much attention last night (Mon). First of all, rules forbid him to sport the King Power team's 'crypto casino BC Game' sponsor. The Bia Saigon emblem appeared to be missing from his sleeve too. Obviously the 15-year-old can't partake.
