However, according to Gazzetta, even Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli would be in danger if Juventus failed to finish in the top four this season.

Qualifying for the Champions League is the minimum target for a club that has invested over €200m in new signings this term.

Gazzetta argues that Giuntoli has still achieved some targets, like reducing costs and wage bills, but he could also be held accountable for disappointing results on the pitch at the end of the campaign.

According to the report, Giuntoli believes this Juventus team can fight for the title in 2025-26 with three or four signings, including Sandro Tonali, but Champions League qualification would also be essential to sit down with the Italian midfielder and his club, Newcastle.
