Arsenal decide to not renew Thomas Partey’s contract | OneFootball

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Arsenal have taken the decision not to renew the contract of Thomas Partey (31). The Ghanaian international midfielder’s contract with the Premier League club is set to expire at the end of the season. As a result, the 31-year-old looks set for a departure in the summer transfer window as a free agent.

With Partey set to become a free agent, this has alerted the interest of several clubs. Tavolieri understands that clubs in both the Premier League and Saudi Arabia would be interested in signing the 31-year-old on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.

Talks with Saudi ongoing

Whilst the midfielder his happy in London and would be willing to stay in England, talks over a move to the Saudi Pro League have already begun. The former Atlético Madrid midfielder has impressed the Ministry of Sports in the Gulf State with his performances in the UEFA Champions League, and Partey is understood to have responded well to the interest.
