Barcelona star limps out of Inter Milan clash with injury | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Wednesday evening been dealt an altogether concerning blow on the personnel front.

This comes after Jules Koundé was forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the continent.

In the first of two Champions League semi-final meetings with Italian champions Inter Milan, the Blaugrana have welcomed Simone Inzaghi’s troops to Catalunya’s capital.

Hansi Flick’s side have already showcased their remarkable recovery efforts in the fixture, having overturned an early two-goal advantage on the part of Inter to draw level.

As alluded to above, though, en route to as much, Barca were also dealt a blow.

Late in the first-half at Montjuïc, the aforementioned Jules Koundé went to ground off the ball, looking in evident discomfort as he did so.

The Frenchman, in turn, was swiftly hooked from the action, replaced at right-back by Eric García.
