Barcelona can extend their advantage in the La Liga title race with a win against Celta Vigo on Saturday.
The Catalans will move seven points clear of Real Madrid with a victory, ahead of the latter’s clash with Athletic Bilbao the following day.
Barcelona saw their 24-game unbeaten run in all competitions ended in midweek, though defeat at Borussia Dortmund did not prevent progress in Europe. Hansi Flick’s side remain well placed for treble success this season.
The Spaniards have a four-point cushion in La Liga, face Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals, and are preparing for a Copa del Rey decider against Real Madrid next weekend.
Celta Vigo head to Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Saturday afternoon in need of points of their own. Seventh in the table, Celta are chasing European football.
Hansi Flick has no new injury concerns with Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal all remaining in the treatment room.
Ferran Torres has scored five times in his last seven league appearances despite limited game time, in addition to the decisive goal in the Copa del Rey semi-final win over Atletico Madrid. Flick could opt to rotate his forward line following their midweek exploits, with Torres and Dani Olmo options to come in.
Barcelona predicted XI: Szczesny; Kounde, Cubarsi, Araujo, Martin; De Jong, Pedri, Fermin; Yamal, Raphinha; Lewandowski.
Barcelona host Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday 19th April 2025. Kick-off is 15:15 BST.
