Chelsea considering move for Strasbourg striker

Chelsea are considering a move to sign striker Emanuel Emegha from sister side Strasbourg.
Enzo Maresca wants to bring in another centre-forward to provide competition and cover for Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea’s recruitment team have been monitoring the performances of Emegha, who has impressed this season in Ligue 1. He is one of several potential targets for the West Londoners, who also admirer Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap.
Emegha has scored 12 goals in 22 league appearances for the French side, who sit sixth in the table and are pushing for European qualification. Strasbourg are owned by BlueCo, who purchased Chelsea in 2022, which could simplify a potential move to the Premier League.
French football journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter has reported Chelsea’s interest in the 22-yaer-old player, who has netted 20 times in 54 appearances for Strasbourg since his arrival from Sturm Graz. Emegha has also netted twice in six caps for the Netherlands at u-21 level.
