Juventus will not only need to sort out who their go-to guy up front will be next summer, as Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani’s future is uncertain for different reasons. They’ll also try to bring in a sound deputy after what occurred with Arkadiusz Milik. He has missed every game so far due to multiple injuries. They had to lean on just one option for half of the season.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri are keeping tabs on Agustin Modica, who stars for Rosario Central. He has totaled 9 goals in 35 appearances in Argentina, scoring 4 times in the Copa Libertadores. He’s completing his rehab from an ACL tear. The striker was born in Liguria and has an Italian passport.
Juventus are also monitoring more seasoned options, but they might be a tad pricey for the job. The top candidate from Serie A are Lorenzo Lucca, who has a €30M price tag and is wanted by numerous sides. The same goes for Nikola Krstovic, who will leave Lecce for €20/25M in the summer.
The Old Lady is also tracking Liam Delap, who has recorded 12 goals and 2 assists in 32 Premier League matches this campaign. However, it’d take a €35M offer to lure him away from Ipswich Town.
All indications suggest they’ll splurge on a new striker, or somehow find a way to stick with Dusan Vlahovic if he roars back, they keep Igor Tudor, and he lowers the requests to renew his contract. It’s a tricky proposition because they can’t sign two cumbersome players. Somebody who could also handle other roles would be ideal, so he’d stay involved regardless.
