Liverpool star’s agent admits ‘we would love’ for him to play for Real Madrid | OneFootball

The agent of Liverpool star Ryan Gravenberch has this week openly admitted to his hopes of one day seeing his client line out for La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Midfielder Gravenberch is for his part in the midst of something of a breakout campaign on the books of Liverpool.

At last living up to the expectations placed on his shoulders from such a young age at Ajax, the Dutch international has established himself as one of English football’s standout engine room performers.

Amid Liverpool’s charge towards the Premier League title, Gravenberch has been an integral figure, featuring from the off in each and every one of the Reds’ 31 fixtures.

In turn, it may come as something of a surprise to hear of the 22-year-old’s agent this week seemingly angling for a move away from Anfield.

Speaking during an interview with Marca (as cited by Fabrizio Romano), Jose Fortes was drawn on the rumoured interest of the aforementioned Real Madrid in Gravenberch’s signature.

And Fortes was not shy in admitting:

“He’s good enough for Real Madrid. We would love for him to play for them, but Liverpool would ask for a lot of money. I know they’ve had their eye on him, but for now it’s impossible.”
