Manchester City will entertain Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium this Tuesday night as both sides look to secure a good result in the Premier League. The Mancunian outfit managed to earn a solid 2-0 win over Everton recently. Similarly, the Villans secured a dominant 4-1 victory over Newcastle United, so both teams would be full of confidence going into this game.
Pep Guardiola will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation. The Man City boss could ask his players to control the flow of the game at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.
Unai Emery will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation as well and might instruct his men to defend their penalty area well while trying to expose the opposition’s defensive weaknesses on the counter.
Manchester City
Ederson, Rodri, Nathan Ake, Eriling Haaland and John Stones will all be sidelined for this game because of injury.

Aston Villa
Pau Torres is a minor concern for the Villans ahead of this midweek clash at the Etihad. Otherwise, Emery has got no fresh injury concerns to cope with this week.
Aston Villa Predicted XI
Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Maatsen; Kamara, Tielemans; Rogers, McGinn, Rashford; Watkins
Manchester City
Omar Marmoush would have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for Man City up top. Both Mateo Kovacic and Kevin de Bruyne need to be at their best if the home team are to come out on top this Tuesday night.
Aston Villa
The West Midlands club would rely on Ollie Watkins and Marcus Rashford to do most of the damage in the final third. Both Ezri Konsa and Tyrone Mings would have to defend their penalty area well if they are to keep the Man City attackers quiet this week.
