An official announcement (see below) from the club revealing the news.

This announcement relates to the 37th round of Premier League matches.

There were already four Newcastle United TV matches confirmed.

Now Arsenal v Newcastle will also be shown on UK live TV, at 4.30pm on Sunday 18 May.

Official club announcement on Newcastle United TV matches – 17 April 2025:

‘Newcastle United’s penultimate Premier League game of the season against Arsenal has a new kick-off time after the fixture was selected for live television coverage.

The Magpies head to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 18th May, and while kick-off was initially scheduled for 3pm BST, it has now been announced that the contest will now kick-off at 4:30pm BST.

The game against Mikel Arteta’s men will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Any further changes to United’s schedule will be communicated at the earliest opportunity.’

Tonight we will find out if the Chelsea home match will be on the Saturday or Sunday, almost certainly the latter. As they are 3-0 up from the away leg in their Conference quarter-final.

Whilst on the final day of the season, Newcastle v Everton will definitely stay at 4pm on Sunday 25 May, but only after the 37th round of matches will the broadcasters decide which matches they are showing live on the final day of the Premier League season.

The remaining Newcastle United match schedule:

Saturday 19 April – Villa v Newcastle (5.30pm) Sky Sports

Saturday 26 April – Newcastle v Ipswich (3pm)

Sunday 4 May – Brighton v Newcastle (2pm) Sky Sports

Saturday 10 May – Newcastle v Chelsea (12.30pm) TNT Sports

(***If Chelsea get through to Conference League semi-finals, Newcastle v Chelsea will be played Sunday 11 May with a 12pm kick-oof, still live on TNT Sports)
