The sidelined contingent of first-team players at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday convened, to watch their side in action.

Barcelona are of course currently in the thick of their latest league fixture.

Fresh off booking a spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League in midweek, the Blaugrana have welcomed Celta Vigo to Catalunya’s capital, hopeful of extending their advantage atop the Spanish top-flight.

As things stand at Montjuïc, this is precisely what the day’s hosts find themselves headed towards, leading by a solitary goal to nil.

*Update* – Celta Vigo have since levelled things up on the scoreline.

And as alluded to above, watching on from the stands are four members of Hansi Flick’s squad who were unavailable for selection on Saturday, owing to injury.

The quartet in question come in the form of Alejandro Balde, Marc Casadó, Marc Bernal, and Marc-André ter Stegen.
